A few things happen when you drink ...
It feels good initially
Alcohol binds to the receptors of the neurotransmitter GABA (and some other receptors) in the brain which makes us feel buzzed, relaxed and calm.
It makes us feel quite bad later
The day after drinking we can feel anxious because our GABA receptors have been desensitized, and we can feel fairly poisoned because of acetaldehyde (the toxic byproduct of alcohol).

Dihydromyricetin has been shown to increase GABA in a non-addictive way to alleviate anxiety. Dihydromyricetin has also been shown to help breakdown acetaldehyde. Acetaldehyde is a toxic by product of alcohol that causes unpleasant symptoms like nausea, headaches, brain fog, and hot/cold sweats, when it builds up.
Scientists have found that DHM (After Party’s high dose ingredient):
- Triggers the liver to produce more enzymes that break down alcohol like alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH).

FAQs
It’s important to take this properly for it to work.
For reasonable partying (1-4 drinks): Take 2 pills before bed with a lot of water. Take 2 more pills the following morning, if necessary. That’s 2-4 pills in total.
For partying hard (5+ drinks): Take 3 pills before bed with a lot of water. Take 2 more pills the following morning (and if you feel it’s necessary, take 2 pills 4 hours later). That’s 5-7 pills in total.
Taking After Party while drinking has been shown to reduce the overall amount you drink throughout the night. So if you want that, take two pills before drinking and before bed and in the morning. If you want the full impact of alcohol but just want to avoid the hangover, take 2-3 pills before bed and 2 the next morning.
After Party is a supplement and shouldn’t be an issue while on other medications. It helps detoxify alcohol, so taking it with drinking is better than just drinking, but check with your doctor.
Taking too much of anything isn’t a good idea, but this is extremely safe. Stick with the recommended dosage.
