Here's how to take After Party by Fuller Health: follow the label, which says 3 capsules before bed and 2 capsules upon waking, for 3,250 mg of DHM per 5-capsule serving. Don't take more or add doses while drinking. It's not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and if you take prescription medicines or have a medical condition, ask a doctor or pharmacist first.
Key takeaways
- Each After Party capsule contains 650 mg of DHM, and one serving is 5 capsules, or 3,250 mg.1
- The label splits each serving in two: 3 capsules before bed and 2 capsules upon waking.1
- The bottle holds 10 servings, the travel tin 2 and the Plus-One Bundle 14.1
- One 3,250 mg serving is about 3.4 times the highest daily DHM dose tested in a published human trial, 970 mg.2
- In lab tests, DHM inhibited three enzymes that process many prescription drugs.3
What are the directions for After Party?
Take 3 capsules before bed and 2 capsules upon waking. Together that's one serving: 5 capsules, or 3,250 mg of dihydromyricetin (DHM).1
Dihydromyricetin (DHM) is a plant flavonoid. After Party's comes from vine tea (Ampelopsis grossedentata) stem and leaf, and the only other ingredient is the cellulose capsule.1 For background, see what DHM is.
| When | Capsules | DHM |
|---|---|---|
| Before bed | 3 | 1,950 mg |
| Upon waking | 2 | 1,300 mg |
| One serving | 5 | 3,250 mg |
Why is the serving split between night and morning?
Because that's how the label directs it, and we'd rather you follow the label than improvise. We don't claim the split timing does anything specific.
No published study has tested DHM timing in people, and as of October 2026 we couldn't find a published human study of how DHM is absorbed. If the schedule doesn't fit your routine, ask your doctor or pharmacist before changing it. Our guide to DHM dosage and timing covers the research on amounts.
How many servings are in each format?
The bottle holds 10 servings, the travel tin 2, and the Plus-One Bundle (one bottle plus two tins) 14.1
| Format | Capsules | Servings | Before-bed capsules (3 per serving) | Upon-waking capsules (2 per serving) | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Bottle (amber glass) | 50 | 10 | 30 | 20 | $36 |
| The Travel Tin (metal) | 10 | 2 | 6 | 4 | $10 |
| The Plus-One Bundle (1 bottle + 2 tins) | 70 | 14 | 42 | 28 | $46 |
That works out to $3.60 per serving for the bottle, $5.00 for the tin and about $3.29 for the bundle. Shipping is free on all U.S. orders and takes 3–5 days.1 For a side-by-side, see the bottle vs. the travel tin.
Should you take After Party with water or food?
Swallow the capsules with water. Whether food changes how much DHM you absorb hasn't been studied in people, so if the label on your container says anything more specific, follow it.
How should you store After Party?
Keep the lid closed, store the bottle or tin at room temperature away from heat, humidity and direct sun, and keep it out of reach of children. Use it before the date printed on the container, and follow any storage directions on its label.
In lab tests, DHM dissolved in liquid broke down faster as temperature and pH rose.4 Capsules are dry and haven't been studied the same way, so treat this as sensible caution; more in why we use amber glass and metal tins.
For travel, the tin holds two servings. TSA's 3.4-ounce limit is for liquids, and TSA recommends that medication be clearly labeled to make screening easier; keeping capsules in their labeled container does the same job for a supplement.5 Other countries' rules on supplements vary; check before you fly.
Who shouldn't take After Party, and who should ask first?
Don't take After Party if you're pregnant, breastfeeding or under 21. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take any prescription medicine or have a medical condition.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding: not for use. DHM hasn't been studied in pregnant or breastfeeding people.
- Under 21: After Party is for adults 21 and over.
- Prescription medicines, including sedatives and sleep medicines: ask first. In lab tests on human enzyme samples, DHM inhibited CYP3A4, CYP2D6 and CYP2E1, which process many drugs; this hasn't been tested in people.3
- A liver condition or any other medical condition: ask first.
One more thing: After Party's 3,250 mg serving is higher than the doses used in published human DHM studies. The highest, 970 mg a day for one month, was given to adults with type 2 diabetes.2 NIH's LiverTox database says DHM is widely described as well tolerated but hasn't been put through many prospective safety trials, and lists a typical dose of 300–1,000 mg a day.6 If you notice anything unusual, stop and talk to your doctor. What we don't know yet
As of October 2026, no published human study answers these questions:
- How people tolerate 3,250 mg of DHM per serving, or repeated servings over months.
- How DHM is absorbed in people, and whether food or timing changes that.
- How DHM interacts with specific medicines in people, rather than in lab tests.
What is After Party, and what isn't it?
After Party is a dietary supplement with one active ingredient, DHM, in a vegetable cellulose capsule. It's vegan and gluten-free, with 0 g sugar, no fillers, no flow agents and no proprietary blend.1 Here's why After Party is just DHM; every label fact is on the After Party facts page.
Frequently asked questions
Can I take all 5 capsules at once?
Follow the label: 3 capsules before bed and 2 upon waking. No study has compared that with taking all five at once, so we can't say either is better. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before changing the schedule.
Can I take After Party while I'm drinking?
Stick to the label: 3 capsules before bed and 2 upon waking, with no extra capsules and no added doses while drinking. After Party does not prevent intoxication, lower blood alcohol, or make drinking or driving safer. It is a dietary supplement, not a proven hangover treatment.
How many servings are in a bottle?
The bottle holds 50 capsules, or 10 servings of 5 capsules. The travel tin holds 10 capsules (2 servings), and the Plus-One Bundle 70 (14 servings).
Can I take After Party every day?
We can't tell you daily use is safe, because no one has studied DHM at this dose. Published human trials gave 300–970 mg a day for one to 12 months; one After Party serving is 3,250 mg. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before regular use.
Is After Party vegan?
Yes. After Party is vegan and gluten-free, with 0 g sugar. Its only ingredients are DHM from vine tea and the cellulose capsule.
